StudioNERD _ NEwcomer Research & Design _ is a research oriented design firm in located in the quiet suburbs of Washington, DC. The firm was founded by Brandon Newcomer who also serves as the Program Chair and Professor of Architecture at Montgomery College. He has held previous employments with top global design firms including Gensler, CallisonRTKL (now Arcadis), and Ayers Saint Gross. Prior to founding StudioNERD he served as the Director of Research & Design at Lessard Design in Vienna, VA focusing on the development of large-scale multifamily housing. He holds a Associates of Applied Science in Architecture from Montgomery College, a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Catholic University, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan.
